I grew up in a tiny town in North Dakota, dreaming of becoming an actor.  From an early age, I was performing in front of anyone who would listen.  I would sing and play the piano at many functions around town.  But, coming from a town of less than 1,500 with one movie theatre (that closed down when I was a junior) and little to no exposure to live shows, I had no idea how to turn my dream into reality.

One of the biggest influences on my life was the movie Annie.  I would listen to the record and perform every song.  I even tried write down the entire movie so I could put on the show in my backyard.  Although, I stopped when I couldn't remember Grace's name.  As luck would have it, Annie has had another impact on me as I had the privilege of working with Martin Charnin on the Annie national tour.  My life has taken many twists and turns, but I'm very thankful that I get to do what I love so much for a living...and I get to share it with Tyler.
